I am been interested in creating woven sculptural forms to explore the relationships of how our internal landscapes (thoughts, emotions, sensations) shape our external realities (body, relationships, action). This is an ongoing exploration.

The Woven Snail seeks to bring weaving to the people in pop-ups, collaborations and classes. For centuries weaving has provided space for communities to gather for storytelling and collective creation. By adding our personal experiences into the collective consciousness, these moments help us imagine a cohesive community.
